Helen Elizabeth Hunt (born June 15, 1963) is an American actress known for her work in television and film. She rose to fame portraying Jamie Buchman on the sitcom Mad About You (1992–1999), winning multiple Emmy and Golden Globe Awards. Hunt also won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the romantic comedy As Good as It Gets (1997).
